Bishal Lohane is a Nepali filmmaker, director, writer, actor, producer, and film editor, widely recognized for his independent cinema and socially meaningful storytelling. He is the President of Ahuri Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., leading creative projects that combine culture, social awareness, and innovative storytelling.

Bishal began his journey as a story writer and gradually expanded his expertise to acting, directing, editing, and cinematography, often handling multiple roles in his own films. His versatile skill set makes him a complete package in filmmaking, capable of overseeing projects from concept to final production.

Among his notable works is the social drama “Bhram – The Confusion,” which explores psychological and social challenges within families. Other projects include “7 Boys” and “Seti Didi.” His upcoming experimental sci-fi film “AHURI” is scheduled for release in 2026, further cementing his reputation as an innovative filmmaker.

Bishal has been recognized for his contributions to Nepali media, including winning a Social Media Award for the animated short film “Simha Ra Shyal” and receiving multiple nominations for other short films. Many of his films and short projects have been screened at the 1st Dhaulagiri Film Festival, where he also served as the Festival President in 2021 in Kushma, Parbat.
